Sunnyvale House is a Family run Guest House with 6 comfortable en-suite rooms. We aim to make your stay in our delightful seaside town one to remember.

Situated on the West Cliff we are ideally located  for all of Whitby's many attractions. The Beach, Pavilion, Town, Harbourside, Shops and Restaurants are all just a short stroll away on Whitby's Westside.

Cross the historic swing bridge spanning the river Esk to visit the Eastside with its charming narrow streets, Whitby Jet works, Captain Cook museum, Kipper smoke house, plus many enchanting shops.

Climb the famous 199 steps to the delightful Parish Church of  Saint Mary's, pause for a moment, not just to catch your breath, but also to take in the atmosphere that inspired Bram Stoker to write his most famous novel  'Dracula'. On then to our most historic landmark, Whitby Abbey, now owned by English Heritage it has an interactive visitor centre to guide you through the fascinating history of this spectacular ruin.
